potato wedges

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 large size potatoes
    • 1/2 cup of maida
    • 1tsp of fine salt
    • 1 1/2 tsp of redchili powder
    • 1 tsp of ajwain (celery seed)
    • oil for fry(4cup)

    Directions

    1. peel potatoes and cut half into lanth then make slices
    2. and blanch in hot boiling water for 4to5 minuts also add lil salt
    3. now drain all water and set on side
    4. in large bowl take maida +salt+chili powder and ajwain(celery seed)
    5. mix all ingredient dry put all potato wadges in to dry mixture just for dusting
    6. heat oil on mid high flam then take out potatoes from mixture and deep fry
    7. serve hot with ketchup or mayonnaise
