Diet Chicken

Chicken cooked with 1 tsp of oil

I am a total chicki lover and when i gained extra weight, i tried cooking chicken this way and it turned out wonderful, tastes great with sambhar, rasam and chappathis

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 250 g Chicken
    • 1 tbsp  Chili powder
    • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
    • 1 tbsp Soya sauce
    • 1/2 Onion, chopped (optional)
    • 1/2 tsp Crushed pepper
    • Salt - to taste
    • 1 -2 tbsp Oil
    • 1 sprig Curry leaves


    1. Boil the chicken with salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and turmeric powder till tender and dry.
    2. Shred or slightly mash the chicken with a spoon.
    3. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil and add the boiled chicken and roast on high flame for 1 minute.
    4. Add crushed pepper powder and chopped curryleaves, tomato sauce and soya sauce and roast for another 2 minutes till the masalas get blended well with the chicken.
    5. f you are using the onions, then fry them nicely and then add the chicken followed by all the masalas and sauces.
    6. Serve hot with sambhar and rice or with chappathis
