pudina (mint ) kuruma

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup pudina ( mint ) leaves washed
    • 1 cup green peas and cubed potato
    • 1 large onion
    • 1 tomato
    • 2 cinnamon stick
    • 2 cloves
    • 2 green cardamom
    • lemon juice 1tbsp
    • grated coconut 1 cup
    • ginger
    • 3 garlic cloves
    • 5 green chill
    • half tsp fennel seeds
    • 6 cashew nu
    • 2 tbsp roasted gram (buna channa)
    • oil
    • salt

     

     

    Directions

    1. for grinding:take 1tbsp oil in kadai add ginger ,garlic , green chilli, fennel seeds,roasted gram ,coconut ,cashewnut and pudina saute well cool and grind to paste.
    2. cook green and potato with salt and keep aside
    3. now heat oil in kadai add cinnamon , cloves and cardamom saute now add onion saute till the colour changes now add tomato not add the grinded paste saute for 5 min , add cooked peas and potato , salt and lemon juice boil for few min and turn off .
    4. goes well with rice , chapatti and parata.
