Sweet kachori

grated coconut with dry fruits stuff in mash potatoes

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 cup grated coconut
    • 2-3 tsp sugar
    • salt as per taste
    • 2 green chilly finely chopped
    • hand full of coriander leaves finely chopped
    • 2 tsp raisins
    • 2 tsp chopped kaju
    • 3 potatoes boiled
    • maida as required (3-4 tps)
    • oil for frying


    1. In a bowl mix grated coconut with green chilly, salt, sugar, raisins, kaju and coriander leaves.
    2. Mash potatoes add maida to make dough, divide it in equal size balls, then with hands make a (katori) and stuff it with coconut mixture and seal it.  Deep fry golden brown.
    3. serve with imli and khajur chutney.
