Vegetarian Kabab

Nutritious, low fat kabab for vegetarians

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings


    1 katori Nutri nuggets 4 tablespoon roasted besan 2/3 chopped green chillies 1 tsp ginger/garlic paste 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp jeera salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Boil the nutri nugget badi's (for one boil). Strain away all the water.
    2. Blend the nuggets into small piece, with chopped green chillies.
    3. Add jeera,roasted besan, salt,ginger/garlic paste and all other ingredients with the nugget mixture.
    4. Make balls or sheek kabab of the mixture
    5. In a cooker keep water ,take a vessel keep the kababs in it.Do not put the cooker lid and boil for 10 minutes.
    6. After this open the cooker , take out the kababa and let it cool.
    7. if, you want to deep fry the kababs fry them in a kadai or have it boiled with any chutney sauce.

    I think the author means - steam the kabas in pressure cooker.

    It is not clear in the recipe that if we need to to boil the kebabs then why do we put them in the vessel before putting them in the cooker,why not directly in the cooker
