Mustard seeds (black)
3 nos. Mackrel Fish 1 tbsp. Coconut (fresh) 2 nos. Onions 1 sprig Curry leaves 2 tsp Coconut oil 1 inch ginger
Roast first six ingredients and grind along with 1/2 onion and 1/2 portion of coconut. add salt to the masala and keep aside.
Cut fish and clean.
To the masala, add cut peices of 1 1/2 onion, 1 inch pc ginger, remaining coconut and once boiled add the fish pieces and let cook for 20 minutes.
Add fresh coconut oil and sprinkle curry leaves and close the lid for five minutes.
