Chicken pakora

Ingredients non vegetarian 1 servings

    • 250 gm boneless chicken
    • 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tbsp sooji
    • lemon juice 3 tsp
    • red food colour a pinch
    • ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
    • salt to taste.
    • 2 cups oil for deep frying.


    1. Mix all the ingredients to the chicken and marinate it for an hour.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai.
    3. Now deep fry the marinated chicken till crispy.
    4. Serve hot.



    Very Good! I tried this recipe and it came out really good. The only recommendation I would like to make is adding 3 tbsps. of water in the batter for a smoother consistency. I will be definitely making this dish again very soon. Thank you.

    Hi, hfshama!,truly this one is easier than my Chicken Pakoras recipe and seems good too.


    While frying , the flame shud not be kept too high , coz the chicken will not be cooked from inside. this recipe serves 3 to 4 people and not 1. Sorry for mentioning it wrongly in the recipe.
