in chennai usually this is made, packed and distributed to the friends and relatives during ceremonies

Ingredients vegetarian 20 servings


    • 4 cups of wheat flour
    • 4 to 5 cups of sugar
    • oil for deep frying
    • a pinch of salt

    Directions

    1. Mix the aata with the salt and knead well like a chappati dough
    2. Divide the dough into small portions and roll like the pooris
    3. Immediately don't start frying the pooris let if dry half
    4. Heat the oil in a deep pan fry the pooris one by one
    5. Put all the pooris in the dry grinder
    6. Grind it coarsely don't make it to  ground pwdr.
    7. Mix with sugar thoroughly
    8. It is now ready
    9. For the better flavour we take 1 cup of oil and 1 cup of ghee for frying
