Hi Sonali, Lemon grass (Gavati chaha) is a green from the grass species and a herb in Asian cuisine. It has a citrus flavor and can be dried and powdered, or used fresh. It is used allot in Thai, Malay, Indonesian recipes. In this recipe fresh is te best.
