Chatpati Aloo Capsicum

Bell peppers stuffed with Aloo

Its very easy to make every one likes it and takes only 30 to 40 minutes to cook.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    1 large green capsicum 2 pototoes(boiled and mashed) 3 or 4 green chillies few finely chopped coriander leaves salt to taste 1 table spoon red chilli powder 1/4 tbs garam masala powder 1/2 tbs turmeric powder 1/2 tbs chaat masala 1/4 tbs dhania powder oil to fry


    1. Wash bell peppers (capsicum) and take out the middle protion with the help of sharp knife so that it becomes hollow. Keep it a side.
    2. Take boiled and mashed potatoes and mix all masalas very nicely including green chilies and chopped coriander leaves.
    3. Stuff these potatoes in the capsicum very tightly and make the surface smooth by pressing it on any flat plate
    4. Keep the stuffed capsicum in the freezer for about 1/2 an hour
    5. Take it out and with the oily knife (put some oil on knife) cut it in to 4 or 5 pieces(round shape)
    6. Heat oil in tava or pan (like one spoon) and when the oil is hot enough then put these sliced capsicum frying it from both sides and serve hot with roti or any other bread.
