This puts leftover boring fruits into amazing and healthy desserts. It's perfect for an apperizer or even dessert. It's cheap, fun, and easy to make

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 4 fruits ( bananas, apples pears, pineapple, strawberries, peaches, and nectarines works best)
    • 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
    • 2 1/2 tbs. sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. salt (to bring out flavor or the fruits)
    • 1 1/2 cups of water
    • 2 cups of vegetable oil
    • 3 + inch pan
    Optional:
    • powdered sugar
    • 1/2 tbs. vanilla extract
    • vanilla ice cream

    Directions

    1. cut the fruits in 1 inch slices and put aside
    2. mix the flour, water, salt, vanilla extract, and sugar into a batter (the thicker the crispier)
    3. add fruits into the batter (you might want to taste the batter to determine how sweet you want it)
    4. heat up oil in the pan til the bubble starts coming up
    5. get a plate ready with napkins on it to soak up the oil
    6. put 1 battered fruit slice carefully one at a time til the pan is full
    7. wait till the batter is golden brown
    8. take out the fruit slices and serve it warm with vanilla ice cream and, or powdered sugar
