Mysore Pak is a one of the famous sweets of karnataka especially named after Mysore. Mysore is known for Raja Krishnadevaraya & his glory as a King.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 cup Milk Powder
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
2 tbsp Maida
1 cup Ghee
a pinch of Salt.
Directions
Make 1 string syrup from Sugar & water.
In a bowl, mix Milk powder, Maida, Salt & 1 tblsp Ghee.
Add this mixture to the Sugar syrup stirring constantly on medium heat for 2-3 mins. Reduce the heat to low.
Add 2-3 tbsp Ghee & mix well for 2-3 mins. When the mixture starts leaving the sides & bottom of the pan, add another 2 tbsp Ghee. Mix well & remove to a greased plate. Allow to cool completely. Cut into desired shape & serve.
