Cooked roti

These roti are soft & best eaten while it's still warm.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 3/4 cup water


    1. In a karhai bring the water to boil with salt .
    2. Add the flour & stir quickly making sure the flour has absorbed all the water.
    3. Make a lumpy dough & remove from heat. 
    4. Sprinkle some flour on a surface &  knead the flour to form a sticky lumpy dough while it's still hot.
    5. Divide the dough into small ball & roll out thin roties.
    6. Heat a Tava & cook your roties till light brown on both sides.
    7. Remove from tava & circle it around open fire from all sides & u will notice the roties rise.
    8. Remove & wrap the roties in a cloth.
    9. Serve with Sabzi or curries.
