Black Forest Torte

Ingredients non vegetarian 8 servings

    3 eggs 3 oz. castor sugar 1 1/2 cups powdered walnuts 1/4 cup bread crumbs 2 medium sized apples (grated without the skin)


    1. Grease a 9" pie dish. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and castor sugar till thick and fluffy.
    2. Fold in walnuts, apples and bread crumbs. Add stiffly beaten egg whites.
    3. Pour the batter in a pie dish. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenhit for 40 minutes.
    4. Cool the pudding and serve chilled.
