A good way to feed children who r allergic to veggies as these balls are delicious as a snack or as a side dish.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 carrot cut into cubes.
5-6 flowers of a cauliflower.
1/4 c peas
1 medium shredded potatoes
2 shredded zucchini
1 tbsp masala for chaat ( look into my recipes "in upcoming page")
2 tbsp chopped coriander.
4 chopped green chili
2 tbsp bread crumbs
3 tbsp flour
1/4 c cooked rice
1/3 c shredded mozzarella
salt & pepper to ur taste.
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c bread crumbs + 2 tbsp corn flour
oil for deep frying.
Directions
In a pot boil Cauliflower, carrot & peas till half done, strain & allow to cool.
In a bowl combine Potatoes, zucchini, Masala, coriander, chili,bread crumbs,flour,rice,mozzarella, salt/ pepper & drained veggies (making sure to squeeze out all the water).
Mix with hand ( the mix should be dry).
Dip the balls in eggs then in bread crumb mix.
Heat oil & fry the balls till golden. Serve hot with chutney or dips.
