Biscuit Bhakhri

cooking process is similar to plain roti but taste and texture is diffrent

Serve with tea, coffee or mango pickle

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 3 cup coarse wheat flour
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 5 tbsp.oil
    • 5 tsp pure ghee
    • 3/4 cup water 

    Directions

    1. Add oil and salt to the flour and mix well.
    2. Add water little at a time to make stiff dough.Set aside for 20 min 
    3. Make 6 equal balls
    4. Take a ball and roll it into 4 inch round,.Don't bother edges will break. Prick on one side with fork
    5. Heat tava on medium flame. I prefer earthen.
    6. Place bhakhri on it.Turn after 30sec.
    7. When it is light brown from the other side, shift it on a flame and cook till it is medium brown 
    8. Smear with homemade pure ghee
    9. Repeat the process for the rest

    If you don t have coarse wheat flour, use 2+1/2 cup wheat flour and 1/2 cup rava.
