Crispy Potato Wedges

Potato wedges with a twist

Tasty craving for all of you with a tangy twist

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 medium potatoes
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
    • Red chili powder to taste
    • 1 tsp. of hot sauce
    • 2 tbsp of virgin olive oil

    Directions

    1. Cut the potatoes in wedges and drop in glass bowl
    2. Spray oil on the wedges
    3. Sprinkle salt, pepper and red chili powder and red hot sauce
    4. Now toss over the wedges with spatula
    5. Spread the wedges in oven tray. Oven should be preheated at 400 degrees
    6. Bake the wedges till they turn golden brown
    7. Now comes twist, Sprinkle lemon juice all over the wedges.
    8. Serve hot with spicy mayonnaise sauce or tomato sauce

    Hi Shinchi, I dont know why it turned out dry. Sometimes the oven temperatures are different. You have to check in between. After taking out the wedges, just sprinkle the lemon juice (half small lemon) all over and shake it well. Serve the wedges hot. If you will let them sit for a while it will turn soggy.

    Hello Chitra I made them last night they were crispy but too dry at the beginning then when i put lemon juice it became soggy.How can it be made soft and crispy at the same time? Thank you very much.
