I keep cooking this meal coz it has amazing taste no buddy can refuse this delicious food.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 6 servings
1 kg boneless chicken
1/2 cup moong ki daal
1/2 cup masoor ki daal
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp crushed red chillies
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
6-8 curry leaves
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji)
6 green chillies
1/2 bunch of green coriander
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 cup oil
1/2 cup fine chopped tomatoes
tamarind pulp as req
2 fine chopped onion
6 whole red chillies
Directions
Wash daals and soak them for 15 minutes then keep it on boil and add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
Let it cook until daals are tender now add salt and stir it for few minutes.
Heat a oil in a pan now add sliced onion when it turns into light brown then add chicken,ginger garlic paste,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,crushed red chilli,tamarind pulp,salt and tomatoes and green chillies and cook them untill tomatoes are tendered.
Now put the daal mixture in tomato gravy and 1 cup of water.
Heat a oil in a frying pan and add fenugreek seeds,onion seeds,mustard seeds,whole red chillies,cumin seeds and curry leaves and fry them for 1 minute.
Now give a baghaar of it on daalcha.
sprinkle green coriander and serve it with naan/chapati or boil rice.
