Penne in double sauce

this is a very creamy and tasty way of tossing your pasta without adding cheese to it as the white sauce by itself is quite creamy...so the blend of tomato sauce and white sauce goes well into it...penne can be substituted as per your wish.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 cups boiled penne pasta
    • 1/2 red capsicum(cut into strips)
    • 1/2 green capsicum
    • 1/2 yellow capsicum
    • 5-6 baby corns(slit into halves)
    • 3 tsp tomato paste
    • 4-5 pods of crushed garlic
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    • 2 tbsp white sauce
    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    Directions

    1. heat oil, add the crushed garlic and red chilli powder
    2. fry on low till the flavour of garlic is felt.add the baby corns
    3. fry them on medium and add the salt and all the coloured capsicums.
    4. add the tomato paste and keep stirring.now add some water and bring to boil
    5. cook till it turns saucy coating the vegetables.
    6. to this toss the boiled Penne and mix well.
    7. serve by pouring the white sauce over this.
