Egg burger

This is for the young viewers who need a great source of energy / good health which they can prepare with out much effort and enjoy this delicious meal.

Ingredients


  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil to poach each egg.
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slice cheese
  • 1 medium onion cut into thin circles
  • 4 pieces of washed lettuce
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 4 tsp Mayo + 2 tsp chilli sauce
To accompany it:
  • 2 can baked beans + 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 potato French fries.

Directions

  1. Poach the eggs each at a time until the yolk is half hard and sides crunchy.
  2. In the left over oil fry the onion till just soft and slightly brown.
  3. Cut the buns and toast them slightly in the grill.'
  4. Spread some mayo and chilli sauce mix over one bottom side of the bun, top it with the lettuce, fried onion and tomato then poached egg and over that a slice of cheese and cover with the top side of the bun.
  5. Heat baked beans with butter in micro for 1 1/2 min.
  6. In individual plates put one burger, some French fries and 1/4 c of baked beans and serve hot.
  7. Your meal is ready in less then 10 min.

Hi Srivani u can do it either way in water (if u r health concious) or oil as long as te yolk is in te centre & u can call it poached or fried as people from diff parts of te world call it with diff names te main thing is the yolk should be in te middle of te white. cheers.

Poach means to drop the egg in boiling water and gather the whites around the yolk to eventually create a mound of the cooked egg. You don't use oil to poach an egg. This recipe seems to be calling to create a fried egg not a poached egg.

asak POACHED EGG IS WAT U CAN CALL SUNNY SIDE UP OR DOWN I.E THE YOLK IS AT THE MIDDLE OF THE EGG WHITE. HOPE THAT HELPED.CHEERS.
