Pineapple ice cream twist

Try this yummy ice-cream and enjoy the the crsuhed and crispy pieces in it.

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings


    • 4 eggs, separated
    • 1/2 cup caster sugar
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
    • 2 1/2 cup whipping cream
    • 2 tbsp icing sugar
    • 1 small can pineapple half crushed
    • 1/4 cup crushed marie biscuits
    • 1/2 cup half crushed pistachio
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 tbsp butter

     

    Directions

    1. In a bowl add yolks, sugar and vanilla and beat till thick and pale.
    2. In another bowl whip the egg whites until nice and stiff.
    3. In another bowl beat whipping cream and sugar until nice and fluffy.
    4. Now fold in all gently into the egg white (makind sure the mixture is nice and fluffy).
    5. Mix in the pineapple crush and marie biscuits.
    6. Heat a pan adding sugar and butter and caramelize the sugar.
    7. Add in the pistachio and pour this in a round bowl rotate the caramel so it spreads all over the bowl evenly.
    8. pour the ice cream mixture into the bowl and freeze covered till stiff and firm.
    9. Just before serving loosen the ice cream from the bowl by putting the bowl in a warm bath for 2 min.
    10. Take a plate and cover the bowl and turn it up side down.
    11. Now cut into triangles and serve in individual plates.
