Veggies in BB sauce

Those on a diet will welcome this yummy dish and find it a good way to weight loss.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 2 cloves crushed garlic
    • 1 -2 tbsp black bean sauce ( can be found in oriental store) 
    • 1 hot red chilli chopped finely or 1 tsp hot chilli sauce.
    • 2 c veggies of your choice all cut in Chinese style( Broccoli, spinach, baby corns, bell pepper strips,Mushrooms,onions and few tofus)
    • 6 spring onion cut into 2 inch
    For the gravy:
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 c tbsp chicken stock
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp vinegar
    • 1 tbsp corn flour
    • 2 tbsp vegetable stock


    1. In a wok add oil add garlic, chilli, and fry for 1 min then add black beans.
    2. Stir fry then add the vegetables and toss fry for 2-3 min add the spring onion.
    3. Mix the gravy ingredients together and pour it to the veggies toss for 3 min or until it thickens.
    4. Remove from heat and serve hot with noodles or rice. 
            ( black bean sauce has a high amount of salt so just adjust the salt level to your taste).




    Sorry viewers It is a pure vegetarian dish , it should be 1/4 c veggie stock not chicken stock.
