Methi Dan Khirdi

Break Fast Rice, eat with Butter of pure Ghee.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 750 gm Basmati Rice (Soak in Water)
    • 1 Onion (Sliced finely)
    • 1/2 Cup Methi Dana (Yellow Seeds of Methi)
    • 1 Tesp White Zeera (Jeera)
    • 3 Tbsp Cooking oil or Ghee
    • Salt to Taste
    • 4 Glass of Water

    Directions

    1. Soak Methi Dana in water for whole night.
    2. Saute Onion in oil or Ghee then put Zeera (Jeera) and Methi Dana and Saute 3 - 4 minutes.
    3. Put Salt and Water and wait it to be boil.
    4. When water comes to boil put Rice (throw all the water of Soak rice then Put)
    5. Let it be cook in medium low until the Rice done.
    6. Serve with Butter and Pure Ghee (Optional) and Hot Tea.
