Brussel Sprouts Subji

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 lb whole brussel sprouts cut into quarters 
    • 1tbs. Coriander Seeds (dhania)
    • Salt
    • Turmeric
    • Chili Powder 
    • Hing powder 


    1. Wash and drain the brussel sprouts 
    2. Cut the sprouts in half, and then in half again
    3. In a pan heat oil and add hing powder 
    4. When the hing powder starts to crackle, add dhania seeds to the hot oil
    5. When the seeds start to pop, add the brussel sprouts 
    6. Season sprouts with salt, turmeric and chili powder 
    7. Mix periodically until the sprouts are fully cooked and golden brown (the sprouts must be soft) 
    8. Serve with rice or roti
