Green Peas Masala
Simple gravy of green peas

Ingredients
vegetarian
2 servings
2 cups
Green Peas
1 big Onion (finely chopped)
1 big Tomato (finely chopped)
3 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 Green chilli (slit)
1/2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (
jeera
)
a pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp
Garam masala
powder
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
2-3 tbsp Heavy cream
2 cups Water
2 tbsp finely chopped Cilantro (Coriander leaves)
Salt to taste
Directions
In a kadai, heat Oil. Add Cumin seeds & Hing.
Add Onion, Green chillies and Ginger-garlic paste.
Add Tomato & mix well. Add Water, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder, Red chilli powder & Salt. Boil well for 3-4 mins.
Add the Green peas & mix. Cover & cook till the peas are done.
Now add the Heavy cream & mix well. Turn off the heat. Garnish with chopped Cilantro. Serve with Roti, plain rice, chapati, poori.
