Chinese chicken salad

(A full meal salad)

It's my favourite salad and I hope you will also like it.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Chicken (boiled & diced)
    • 1 cup Chickpeas (boiled)
    • 1 cup Noodles (boiled)
    • 1 Carrot (juliened)
    • 4 Lettuce leaves (Salad leaves)
    • 2 Spring onions
    • 1 Tomato (big & red)
    • 1 cup Cabbage (sliced)
    • 3 Bread slices
    • 3 tbsp Soya sauce
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp Mustard powder
    • ½ tsp Black pepper
    • 3 tbsp Vinegar
    • 6 tbsp Mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds (lightly toasted)

    Directions

    1. Remove the crust (brown sides) of bread slices and cut the bread slices in to small squares.
    2. Deep fry them till golden brown.
    3. Mix boiled chicken, channa, noodles, salad leaves, chopped spring onions, chopped tomatoes and sliced cabbage in a salad bowl.
    4. Now beat all the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl into the dressing.
    5. Toss dressing with salad and serve chilled.
    6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds
