Pachai Morkuzhambu

This can be prepared within no time with the avaliability of few items.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 3-4 potatoes (boiled)
    • 2 to 3 tsps of mustard seeds
    • 3 to 4 green chilli ( according to taste)
    • 1 cup of grated coconut
    • small piece of tamarind
    • salt to taste
    • 250 ml curd


    1. First boil the potatoes and keep aside.
    2. Then in a mixie grind all rest of the ingredients in a fine paste except curd.
    3. Mix this paste in the curd and then add the boiled potatoes ( before adding cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces).
    4. Your Pachai Morkuzhambu is ready. Now you can serve this for rice as well as for roti.
