2 cups of Bengal Gram (Chana dal) 1 cup Jaggery 3/4 cup dry coconut powder 6 Cardamoms A pinch of Kesar 2 tsp Fried Poppy seeds 1 cup of Cashew, Raisins and Almonds 2 tbsp. Ghee
Cook channa dal in cooker. Everyone's cooker is different so ensure that that it does not turn into a paste
Add jaggery to dal. Keep mixing until jaggery is fully dessolved.
Add dry coconut powder and ground poppy seeds.
Fry for 5 minutes on a low flame.
Add kesar, cashew, raisins and almonds.
Finally add ghee.
Top it with silver foil and serve.
