can use moor milaga(green small fat chillis soaked in yoghurt and salt added and dried under sunlight.urad dal is optional

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Rice flour
    • 2 ladle yoghurt or 2 1/2cups buttermilk
    • 1 tsp mustard
    • 1/2 tsp urad dal
    • 3 green chilli finely chopped
    • 1 red chilli
    • 1 tsp ginger chopped finely
    • 1 sprig,curry leaves
    • 1/2 tsp hing
    • 3/4tsp salt
    • 1 tbsp refined Oil
    • water 

    Directions

    1. Blend yoghurt with one & half cup water and make it smooth to buttermilk.
    2. In a large bowl mix rice flour,buttermilk,salt and can add water(if needed) to make the batter like dosa batter.
    3. Heat oil in a kadai.Splutter mustard,add ginger,green chilli,hing & curry leaves.
    4. Add the batter and stir continuously.It boils and start becoming thick,
    5. When it start leaving the sides and it will not stick to the sides and this means its well cooked,switch off the gas
    6. Pour that into the big plate and cut it into square shape.After 10 minutes,turn the plate upside down.the pieces are ready to be served.
    7. Moorkoozhu is ready.

    Note:If the batter is watery,it shd be cooked for some more time to make it thick.
