Beetroot milk shake

Healthy and delicious drink.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 Beetroot (medium sized)
    • 1 Carrot (small)
    • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 cup crushed ice
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • ½ tsp elaichi powder

    Directions

    1. Wash the beetroot & carrot very well and pressure-cook with skin.
    2. Cool them, peel off the skin of beetroot and chop both roughly.
    3. Put them in a blender and make fine paste along with sugar
    4. Now add crushed ice and blend again.
    5. Now add all the remaining ingredients and blend till uniform
    6. Serve in tall glasses.
    7. P.S. take care that the quantity of carrot doesn’t dominate beetroot.
