Besan Churma

This sweet have a different taste than other besan wadi.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 cup Besan(Gram flour)
    • 1 cup khoya
    • 2 cup sugar
    • 1 cup ghee
    • 1/2 cup dried coconut
    • 1/2 cup broken cashew & raisins
    • 2 tsp chironji
    • 1 tsp cardamom powder


    1. Make a double string sugar syrup(thick chachni) & then add cardamom in it.
    2. Heat a thick based pan with a cup of ghee, add besan in it & fry it 15-20 min on medium heat.finally add khoya , mix it well & then remove it from fire.
    3. Add this mixturein sugar syrup, also add raisins, coconut, cashew nuts & chironji. mix them well.
    4. Grease a flat container with ghee & spread all mixture having half inch thickness.
    5. Keep it aside for 45 min & then make its wadi.
    6. This besan churma can store  up to 3-4 days in a air tight container.
