Tori ki sabji

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 4-6 Tori (ridged gourd)
    • 1 Onion
    • 4-6 pieces Garlic (Lahsun)
    • Salt
    • 2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp dhania powder
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 2-3 tsp oil
    • 2 tsp sarso


    1. Cut onion in sqare shape,and cut tori in round shape.
    2. In kadai put oil, fry sarso, garlic, diced onions in it.
    3. Then add tori in it and cook for 15 minutes. add little water as needed.
    4. Put salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, dhania powder in it.
    5. After 5 min, add garam masala in it.
    6. Now it is ready to save.




    sarso is mustard.



    hai rachna tori is turai in marati.Ridge guard,turai chi bhaji is an excellent dish.if u make this bhaji exactly like how u make with cucumber bhaji using goda masala.excellent taste.Dancia,its just easy to peel the skin.please before making the sabji,taste whether it bitters.sometimes if snake goes in this,it might bitter.if it bitters do not tender ones.

    i have never cooked ridge gourd. so for a new comer like me i would appreciat if u could explain, as how to clean the vegetable.
