Mutton phal

side dish or can be eaten with roti or parathas

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 kg mutton with bone
    • 4 to 5 pods of garlic
    • 1 inch of ginger
    • 1tbsp of black pepper
    • 2 medium size of onions
    • coriander leaves
    • 5 to 6 greenchilles
    • 1 small tomato chopped
    • 1 small onion chopped
    • oil
    • salt




    1. grind the whole spices into a fine paste except tomato
    2. take a kadai add chopped onion n fry till it turns pink in colour
    3. then add the grinded masala fry nicely
    4. then add the mutton mix nicely add chopped tomato salt n fry for little while
    5. now add water and leave it to cook till mutton gets cooked and water gets reduced
    6. check wether mutton has cooked nicely if not add little more water again and cook till mutton gets tender
    7. serve hot with parathas or rotis
