It is one dish which will spread aromas in house snd bring neighbours to ring your bell.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 can green peas or 25gms fresh peas
2 med big size potatoes
4 medium sized onion
2 tomatoes
2 green chillies
1 tsp jeera seeds
2 tsp fennel seeds
4-5 pods of garlic
6-7 sprigs of corriander
1 tsp chat masala powder (any brand)
3 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Directions
In a cooking vessel heat 1 tbsp of oil.
Stir in it 2 sliced onions, 2 green chillies slit, 3-4 sprigs of corriander, 4-5 garlic pods whole, 1 tsp jeera seeds, 2 tsp fennel seeds and cook till light brown and aromatic.
Now grind this mixture to a thick paste without using any water.
Heat remaining oil and add in it 2 finely chopped onions.
when transparent pink add in it two chopped tomatoes.
Cook well and stir in it the grinded masala paste (step 3).
cook further for a while and add in it potatoes slices.
Add salt and peas and cook till done.
Lastly add in it chat masala stir well n cook on sim for a min
Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis or parathas.
