Prawns onion masala

prawns masala in onion gravy

this masala prawns gravy is easy cook and sour and spicy in taste.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 cup medium or big size prawns.
    • 1 tsp  red chilli powder.
    • 1 tsp garam masala powder
    • 2 medium size onion
    • 1 tbsp tamarind paste
    • 1 tsp turmeric
    • 5-7garlic flakes
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • salt

     

    Directions

    1. Remove skin of prawns wash it and marinate it with salt and turmeric, finely chopped garlic 
    2. Heat the oil in pan or kadhai add chopped garlic.onion and fry it till it become golden brown
    3. Add red chilli, garam masala powder, tamarind paste,salt(we already used salt for marination ) fry it for 2 min then add prawns stir nicely.
    4. Sprinkle little water and allow it to cook for 8-10 min on low flam.
    5. Remove it and garnish it with coriander leaves.
    6. serve hot with roti ,chapati or bread.
