Yam Rice

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups Cooked Rice
    • Yam(diced) - 250gms
    • Mustard - 1 tsp
    • Dania powder - 1tbsp
    • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
    • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
    • Asefotida - 1 tsp
    • Oil - 1 tbsp
    • Salt,to taste

     

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
    2. Remove the outer skin of yam.
    3. Add small diced Yam,Turmeric Powder,Asefotida,Redchilli powder and fry till crispy.
    4. It will be fried just in 5 min.Sprinkle 1 tbsp Dania powder and Salt.
    5. Cook on simmer for another 2 minutes.Remove from heat.
    6. Finally mix with Rice.
    7. If u want to garnish,u can garnish with coriander leaves.
