traditionally made in South India,on Ram Navami

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Grated Jaggery
    • 5 cups Water
    • 1 piece Dry Ginger(Sont)
    • 2 Nos.Cardomom
    • 1/2  Lemon

    Directions

    1. Take water in a bowl and add Jaggery and dissolve it completely.
    2. Crush Sont & Cardomom and add it to the Jaggery water.
    3. After half an hour,filter them and squeeze lemon.
    4. Mix well and serve chilled or at room temperature.

    25 gms sont or dry ginger,if the sont is strongly flavoured,please add jaggery or sont can be reduced to 20 gms.
