Masala Egg Dosa

This recipe originated from the Kingdom of Manajarabad in Karnataka.This is not a ordinary omlet but a special type of side dish

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

  • 6 nos. Egg
  • 7 nos. Green Chilies
  • 2 tbsps. Coriander powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 cup Coconut, grated
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, little
  • 8 pieces Garlic, lumps
  • 1 no. Onion, big


  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl
  2. Grind the remaining ingredients in a mixie with little water.
  3. Add the grinded paste to the beated egg mixture. Mix it thoroughly.
  4. Put a tawa to heat. Add a little oil to it. Spread the mix on the hot tava in a circular shape.
  5. Roast the dosa both sides until golden brown.
  6. Serve with hot rasam, sambar or soup or you can serve it with tomato sauce.



there is no salt is added in this dish. we an use rice and dal mixture instead of egg or not?
