manga Inji Thengai Thogayal

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1/2 cup Coconut
    • 5o gms Ginger,peeled & grated
    • marble sized Tamarind
    • 1 tsp mustard
    • 2 tsp urad dal
    • 1 tsp Chana dal
    • 2 Red chilli
    • 1 green chilli
    • salt as per taste
    • 2 tsp gingely Oil


    1. Heat oil in a kadai and roast chana dal,1 tsp of urad dal,red chilli and it for sometime.
    2. Then grind them in the mixie by adding coconut,green chilli,tamarind & salt into coarse paste without adding water.
    3. Heat 1 tsp oil and splutter mustard and add urad dal and take it when it becomes light brown.
    4. manga inji thogayal is ready.Such a tasty thogayal.Serve with rice and gingely oil.




    manga inji can be grinded without sauteing also.
