2 cup banana flower (good part-remove its foul part)
1 cup gram dhal (soaked for an hour)
1 tsp fennel seeds
5 whole red chillies
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 chopped green chillies
5 chopped curry leaves
2 tsp salt - to taste
1 cm size ginger (finely chopped)
2 tbsp refined oil for frying
Directions
Grind all the ingredients except oil (without adding water) in to a thick dough using a mixer-grinder and shape them into vada (round shape without hole in the centre).
Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan, shallow-fry them on both sides till golden brown.
Serve this hot with tea or cofee with coconut chutney or tomato-ketchup.
