Amla Pachadi

One of my all time favourite

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 3 Big size Amla(gooseberry)
    • ¼ cup grated coconut
    • 4-5 green chillies(can add or reduce according to taste)
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tsp oil
    • ¼ tsp mustard seeds
    • 1 cup of thick curd

    Directions

    1. Remove seed from amla and chop it.
    2. Now grind amla,green chillies and coconut.
    3. Add this mixture to curd and mix well
    4. Heat oil in a kahadai and add mustard seeds to it and allow it to splutter.
    5. Now add this to the pachadi.
    6. Add salt 5 mins before serving.
    7. This pachadi goes very well with Toovar dal rice(paruppu chadam).
