Easy Mutton Curry

Mutton pieces cooked in spices

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 500 gm boneless mutton pieces
    • 2 tsp fennel seeds
    • 1/2 cup onion paste
    • 1/2 cup tomato paste
    • 2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tsp or needed salt
    • 1 tbsp refined oil
    • 2-3 cup water

    Directions

    1. Clean the mutton pieces and Keep it aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pressure pan , add fennel seeds, then onion paste and tomato paste. saute for 2 mins.
    3. Add the mutton pieces and needed water and  add the chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt.
    4. Mix the pieces well with the spices.
    5. Cover and pressure cook for 18-20 mins.
    6. If u want it dry ,then open the pan lid and saute it till it becomes dry.
    7. Very tasty fennel - flavoured mutton is ready to be served with rice or chapathis.

    Hi Christy, I'been reading all your recipes and did try to make few of them i just love the way you simplyfy them and use minimum of masala's still it comes out very delicious. anyways as for this one can you suggest what should i use instead mutton b-cuz i am vegetarian. thanks and keep up the good work as always, Happy Cooking.
