Crab roast
Crabs shallow-fried in spicy masala

Ingredients
non vegetarian
4 servings
500gms Crab(or 6 crabs)
6 garlic cloves
6 green chillies
1 inch size ginger piece
1 tbsp peppercorns
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp kus-kus or poppy seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp refined oil
few coriander leaves
2 cups water
Directions
Grind greenchillies,ginger,garlic,cumin seeds,pepper corns,coriander leaves and poppy seeds together in a mixer-grinder.keep this aside.
Clean the crabs(little removing the shells) with turmeric powder,salt and lemon juice.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan,saute fennel seeds for a min.
Add cleaned crabs and ground masala and mix them well.
Add 2 cups water and needed salt and cook for 10-12 mins till it becomes dry.
Serve them hot with rice .
