Grind together coconut ,ginger,garlic,pepper corns,cardamom,cinnamon stick,clove and cumin seeds in to a fine paste adding 1/2 cup water from time to time.
Put mutton pieces ,tomatoes,turmeric powder and water-1 1/2 cup.close the pan and cook for 10 mins
Heat oil in another pan ,add curry leaves,green chillies,cashew nuts and onions and saute for 2 mins till onions are golden brown.
Add the ground paste and stir for 3 mins.
Add 1 cup - water and salt.cook till oil begins to separate for about 3 mins.
Add cooked mutton and saute for 5 more mins till water dries up.
