Tasty Mung Dal

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups Mung dal boiled
    • 1-2 Onions chopped
    • 2-3 Tomatoes chopped
    • 2-3 Green chilies
    • 1 tsp Jeera
    • ½ tsp Jeera powder
    • 1 tsp Red chilies powder
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • ½ Ginger garlic paste (optional)
    • Salt to taste
    • Coriander leaves

     

    Directions

    1. Take some oil in kadai, add jeera and green chilies.
    2. Now add onions cook for 2 min, add tomatoes, red chilies, salt and turmeric powder cook well till tomatoes get soft and oil shows.
    3. Now add boiled mung dal. Stir well for 2 min adding 2 glass of water.
    4. Bring it to boil add coriander leaves and jeera powder.
    5. Serve hot with puries or chapattis

    i have always done this recipe without onions and tomatoes.. i think yours will be a better version
