2 bunch fresh methi leaves
2 medium onion
1/4 cup moong dal
1/2 tsp jeera
2 green chilli split lengthwise
4 garlic pods
1 cup water
1/2 tsp hing
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oil
Wash methi and drain them and chop.
Wash Moong dal and drain it.
chop potato and tomato and onion.
Heat oil in a pressure pan,splutter jeera,hing & then green chilli.
Next add onion,garlic.saute till transparent.
Add tomato and saute till glazed.
Then add moong dal.roast for 2 minutes.Potato is added and methi leaves.
Fry for 2-3 minutes till all mixed up well.
Lastly add water,sugar and salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Methi sabji is ready.Serve hot with chapathi or phulka or rice.
