Very easy to do side dish which requires 6 mins microwave cooking time only. Try at home and drop your comments.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
200 gms Avaraikai(Broad Beans or Flat Beans)- cleaned and cut finely
1 finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp water
2 tsp refined oil(optional)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds(optional)
2 whole red chillies(optional)
Directions
Take a microwave bowl,mix chopped onions,finely cut Avaraikai,turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin seeds, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt so that the masala is evenly spread.
Sprinkle 2 tbsp water over it.
Microwave on High for 3 mins.
Take the bowl out.
Put oil,mustard seeds and red chillies in another microwave bowl. Microwave on High for a minute and add this to the Avaraikai masala bowl, mix well and Microwave on High for 2 more mins.
