Very tasty side dish to go with sambar and rice. This stirfry requires 6 mins microwave cooking time only. Try at home and enjoy the dish.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
200 gms Broad beans(Avaraikai)- cleaned and cut finely
1 finely chopped onion
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 finely chopped green chilli
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp water
2 tsp refined oil(optional)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds(optional)
1/2 tsp split urad dhal(optional)
2 whole red chillies(optional)
2 tsp grated coconut(optional)
Directions
Take a microwave bowl,mix chopped onions,finely cut Avaraikai,cumin seeds, chopped green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt so that this is evenly spread.
Sprinkle 2 tbsp water over it.
Microwave on High for 3 mins.
Take the bowl out.
Put oil,mustard seeds,split urad dhal and red chillies in another microwave bowl. Microwave on High for a min and add this to the Avaraikai bowl with grated coconut, mix well and Microwave on High for 2 more mins.
Take that out and serve this tasty Broad Beans-Avaraikai Stirfry with sambar and rice.
