Sel Roti (Sindhi style)

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 10-12 Chapattis
    • 1 Onion
    • 2-3 Tomatoes grinded
    • 1 bunch coriander leaves
    • 5-6 garlic pieces
    • 2-3 Green chilies
    • 1 tsp Coriander powder
    • ½ tsp haldi powder
    • 1 tsp Red chilies
    • Salt to taste


    1. Grind coriander leaves, onion, green chilies and garlic pieces into a paste adding some water.
    2. Take some oil in kadai add the coriander paste stir well.
    3. Now add tomatoes, red chilies, salt and haldi powder. Cook till oil shows.
    4. Add around 2 glass of water and bring to boil, break the chapattis into small pieces and add in it.
    5. Close the lid and leave it for 5 min and serve hot with white butter.

    Hey kavita, this dish tastes good, i usually prepare it...but instead of using water i add butter milk... gives a good taste... try it out.
