Bow Ties

Small bow ties made of white flour and dipped in sugar syrup

A wonderful item for kids party...we prepare this in Ramzan as sweet dish.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    Dough.

    • 1 cup white flour.
    • 3 tsp ghee.
    • 2 pinches of cardamom pwd.

    Syrup.

    • 2 cups sugar.
    • 1 cup water.
    • drops of rose essence.
    • Oil for deep frying.

    Directions

    1. Make a 2 string syrup by using the syrup ingredients. Keep it aside to cool.
    2. Prepare a soft dough by using dough ingredients.
    3. Make about 12 to 15 small balls of dough ,roll each one (with the help of flour) into rounds.,gather the roti on right and left and pinch in the middle,finish all dough in the same manner.heat oil and fry them on  medium heat till golden brown. Let them cool.
    4. Dip them in sugar syrup and serve when needed.
    5. You can keep dry bows in air tight container and dip in syrup when needed.
